Tailwind CSS lets us define the design's rules for color, text size and spacing once. Every page of the site is drawn by those rules, so the layout doesn't drift. Unused design code is removed automatically, so pages stay light too.

Tailwind CSS is a free tool for coding how a website looks (colors, text, spacing, phone and desktop layouts). The site you're reading was built with Tailwind CSS too.
The most common reason a site starts to look messy over time is that colors and spacing are done slightly differently on each new page. In Tailwind these values are fixed from the start; a newly added page looks the same as the older ones.
When the site goes live, all unused design code is cleaned out automatically. Only the files that are needed are downloaded to the visitor's phone, so the page loads faster.
Because we can define separate layouts for phone, tablet and desktop in the same place, it's easier to design the site for the phone screen from the start.
