Framer Motion is a free tool for creating animations on sites built with React.
We use animation to guide the user, not as decoration. For example, when a product is added to the cart, a small movement shows the action went through; a window that opens makes it clear where it came from.
Sites where everything moves feel tiring and slow. So we keep movement minimal and short. For users who have turned on the reduce motion setting on their phone, animations turn off on their own.
