The problem
In life simulation games, the player lives a whole life, from birth to old age, through their choices. The genre needs hundreds of events, text for each event in several languages, and a balance that keeps players coming back to play again. Sending a new version to the store for every content addition or translation would delay updates by weeks.
The solution
We built Varoluş as a mobile app that runs from a single codebase, using React Native and Expo. Choices like school, career, love and home change the years that follow. Events and translations can be updated from the server without waiting for a store release, and the game is playable in several languages, including Turkish, English and Spanish.
About the project
Varoluş: Hayat Simülasyonu (Existence: Life Simulator) is a text-based life simulation game that ZIPPEX built and published on Google Play. The player lives a life from the start; choices about school, career, love and home change the years that follow.
