The data for our own platform, kisacik.tr, lives in MySQL too. It stores records like products, customers, appointments and content securely and quickly.
Because it's so common, almost every hosting company supports it, and backup and migration tools are ready to go. When you need to move your software to another server, your data moves easily.
For very complex reports or finance-heavy systems, we sometimes recommend PostgreSQL. We choose based on what the project needs.
