Website Redesign
A new version of your current site that's fast, works properly on phones and looks up to date. Your content and your place on Google are preserved.
A site that looks dated, loads slowly or breaks on phones loses customers every day. In a redesign we bring your site up to date while protecting the position you've built on Google over the years: old page addresses are redirected to the new ones, and content that works is carried over. Visitors see a new site, and Google picks up right where it left off.

About Website Redesign
The need to refresh a site usually shows up in one of three ways: the site looks dated, doesn't work properly on phones or loads slowly. All three lead to the same result: visitors don't trust it and go to a competitor. A redesign means rethinking not just how the site looks, but how visitors find what they're looking for.
We start by reviewing your current site. Which pages get visits, where do visitors leave, which pages bring in traffic from Google? We keep what works and change what doesn't. We rewrite weak copy and carry strong copy over to the new site.
The biggest risk in a redesign is losing your Google rankings. When page addresses change, Google goes to the old addresses and hits errors. To prevent that, we redirect every old address to its new one (a 301 redirect) and submit the new sitemap to Google. For 30 days after launch we monitor rankings and errors.
The new site also comes with an admin panel where you can update the content yourself. If you've had to call a developer for every change on the old system, that problem goes away too. If you're not sure whether your site needs to be rebuilt or refreshed, write to us; we'll look at your current site and tell you.
Frequently asked questions
Will my Google rankings drop?
Not when it's done right. We keep page addresses and content, and redirect any changed addresses to their new ones. We monitor rankings for 30 days after launch.
Can I use my existing content?
Yes. We review the content piece by piece; the good parts are carried over and the weak parts are rewritten.
