Custom Website

A site whose design and code are built from scratch just for you. Features that ready-made themes don't have, connections to the software you use, and a structure that can grow with you.

Ready-made themes are used on thousands of sites. They look alike, and at some point they stop letting you add the feature you want. With a custom website we design and code everything from scratch around you. Needs like a quote form, booking, memberships or a connection to your accounting software are built in as part of the system, and new sections can be added as your business grows.

What's included

  • A design made for your brand
  • A site written from scratch, with no unnecessary code
  • Sections built for your business and connections to the software you use
  • Speed and load tests so it doesn't slow down under heavy traffic
  • A test address where you can try everything before launch
  • 1 year of technical support

How we work

  1. Step 11-2 weeks

    Kickoff and planning

We listen to you about your business, your customers and your competitors. Together we decide which pages the site will have and what each one will say.

  2. Step 22-3 weeks

    Design

We prepare the page wireframes first, then the full-color design. We don't start coding without your approval.

  3. Step 33-6 weeks

    Coding and testing

We code the site to load fast and be readable by Google. We test it on different phones and browsers.

  4. Step 4Ongoing

    Launch and support

We launch the site and set up visitor tracking. We provide technical support for 1 year.

About Custom Website

A custom website means writing the site's design and code from scratch for you, instead of dropping content into a ready-made theme. Not every business needs this; for a site that simply presents your company, a business website is usually enough. A custom site makes sense when your site needs to do a job: calculate quotes, take bookings, show dealer-only prices or exchange data with the software you use.

Ready-made themes carry hundreds of features you don't use, which slow the site down and come with security holes. On a custom site, only what you need gets written. As a result the site loads faster, carries less security risk and gets the advantage that speed brings on Google.

We start by listening to your needs, then present the design for your approval. When coding is done, the site first goes live on a test address; you try everything there, and once you approve it, it moves to the real address. Depending on scope, a project takes 3 to 8 weeks, and we provide 1 year of technical support after handover.

Frequently asked questions

How is it different from a ready-made template?

A ready-made template is used on thousands of sites, and you can only do what it allows. With a custom site the design is yours, and you can add the features you need later on.

How long does it take?

3 to 8 weeks, depending on scope. We share a clear timeline after our first meeting.

Do I need a custom site or a business website?

If your site will only present your company, a business website is enough. If the site will handle things like quotes, bookings, memberships or connections to another system, a custom site is the better choice. If you're not sure, let's decide together in a short call.
